Terms and Conditions of Booking

What’s included

  • High quality guiding, tailored to your needs, to facilitate you achieving your objectives.
  • Guides carry first aid kit and emergency equipment. Please make sure you bring your own medicines
  • Kayak or canoe, paddles, buoyancy aids and spray deck if required

Cancellation and other information

  • I understand that the total fee is required on booking to confirm a place
  • I understand that if, in the view of our guide, the weather or conditions make it unsafe to set out the activity can be cancelled on the day, but you will receive a full refund
  • I understand that if I cancel within 8 days of the activity date you are unable to issue a refund
  • I understand that it is my responsibility to arrange cancellation and curtailment insurance, as well as accident coverage as necessary
  • I understand that my chosen course may be hazardous, and I accept a certain element of risk
  • I understand that before I take part in the activity, I need to sign a consent form
  • I understand that food is not provided on canoe and kayak trips and I must bring my own snacks. Any food offered is done so at my own risk
  • I understand that you cannot accept responsibility for any loss or damage of any personal property
  • I understand that you will potentially use photographs and video in marketing, unless I ask for this not to happen
  • I understand that all information (verbal or written) will be held in confidence and held in according to current Date Protection law
  • I understand that you do not accept any responsibility for damage to vehicles
  • I understand if I’m under the age of 18 I need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian
  • I understand that only children over 11 years of age can take part in activities unless discussed previously with the Kayak Centre manager.
